SAVE THE DATE - Artificial Intelligence in Life Sciences: ethical paths

The National Council of Ethics for the Life Sciences (CNECV) and the Luso-American Development Foundation (FLAD) will hold an International Conference entitled "Artificial Intelligence in Life Sciences: ethical paths".

The conference will take place as a face-to-face event on September 21, 2023, at the FLAD Auditorium in Lisbon, Portugal, with the possibility of simultaneous broadcasting for international audiences. The working language is English.

With this high-level conference, the CNECV and FLAD intend to promote a broad and fruitful debate on some of the main ethical, scientific and social aspects, with regulatory impact, concerning the ethical challenges raised by Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a disruptive technology that is already reshaping the concept of human nature, as complex information is integrated and the resulting insights used in domains such as healthcare and biomedical research at an unparalleled speed and with unpredictable consequences.

This is a free activity, within the CNECV's scope and remit of promoting public awareness and debate.

Programme and registration soon to be available.
