REPORT ON THE STATE OF APPLICATION OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES TO HUMAN LIFE 2022 - Genome Editing and Artificial intelligence

The National Council of Ethics for the Life Sciences (CNECV) approved at its 276th Meeting, held on April 21, the second Report of the Sixth Mandate on the State of the Application of New Technologies to Human Life 2022, dedicated to Disruptive Technologies in Health. The main objective of the analysis is to contribute to an ethical reflection on emerging technologies and their impact on citizens lives, thus recognising potential benefits, to be implemented, and negative effects, to be avoided.
