CNECV strengthens collaboration within the framework of Mediterranean Ethics Bodies
The National Council of Ethics for the Life Sciences (CNECV) took part, on 2 December, in an online working meeting dedicated to reinforcing cooperation among the Mediterranean Ethics Bodies.
The session brought together the President of the CNECV, Maria do Céu Patrão Neves, the Vice-President, André Dias Pereira, and Dalia Abushady, representing the pilot Mediterranean-Ethics Body Working Group, on behalf of the Anna Lindh Foundation.
The meeting made it possible to align work priorities and set the axes that will guide future collaboration between the CNECV and the ethics bodies of the Mediterranean region.
The session aimed to strengthen ties between the northern and southern Mediterranean countries, acknowledging their distinct institutional realities while seeking common ethical foundations for more robust cooperation. The CNECV will continue to contribute to this collective effort, which seeks to build trust among the Ethics Bodies the Mediterranean region.
