Degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra (2000), admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association in 2002. PhD student in Bioethics, Institute of Bioethics of the Portuguese Catholic University. Member of the Portuguese Centre of Studies in Bioethics, International Association of Bioethics, Bioethics Centre of the Portuguese Red Cross School of Health, among other ethics advisory bodies. She is the Executive Secretary of the Portuguese National Council of Ethics for the Life Sciences since 2006.
