Luís Madeira, 35 years old, develops his career in four synchronous strands. A Psychiatrist, he graduated in Medicine from the University of Lisbon in 2008 and works at the Centro Hospitalar Lisboa Norte (CHLN) and Hospital CUF Infante Santo. Holds a Masters Degree in Philosophy from the University of Central Lancashire and a PhD in the area of Philosophy of Psychiatry. He is Assistant Professor of Medical Ethics and Deontology and of Psychiatry at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon. He is also a Psychotherapist with the Portuguese Society for Client-Centred Psychotherapy and Person-Centred Approach. Has presented more than a hundred national and international communications and has 20 publications to his name.
